Doctor Daclaud Heinfroth was a cerebral vampire and servant of Duke Nharov Gundar. He conspired with Akriel Lukas to take over Gundarak and Kartakass by stealing the Crown of Souls. This failed and he killed Gundar—he abandoning him at a critical moment, allowing him to be slain by adventurers so he could take over Gundarak. The doctor later was given his own domain of Dominia, where he captured and created more cerebral vampires.
He was an alienist who conducted depraved experiments on the minds, bodies, and souls of his patients.
He was haunted by laughter that mocked him, claiming he would never find a cure for his family's hereditary madness and one day would succumb to it himself.
